We represented a client that became a target of a federal investigation for providing a fentanyl pill to someone that ended up dying.
We were able to prevent our client from being indicted by presenting evidence to the US attorney’s office. We presented evidence that the client’s co-worker asked our client for oxycodone so they could continue to work and deal with pain.
Our client believed they were providing their co-worker with an oxycodone pill but it turned out it was laced with fentanyl. Our client was unaware of it and did not intend on providing their co-worker with a fentanyl pill.
We prevented our client from being indicted and our client was able to move on with their life and family.
