The client was investigated for aggravated assault with a firearm.
The client had an incident at a gas station where someone physically threatened him. He explained to the individual that he did have a firearm and he was a concealed weapon permit. When the police arrived, they took his firearm and investigated him for aggravated assault with a firearm.
We presented evidence to law enforcement and the state attorney’s office to explain that he followed the rules as a concealed weapon permit holder and he did not in any way threaten the individual with his firearm. The state attorney’s office and law enforcement agreed with us.
Charges were not filed against our client!
