We negotiated with the state attorney’s office, explained the situation, and our Client’s case was amended to a lesser charge of disorderly conduct, meaning that our client will not be labeled a domestic violence batterer.

And if they choose to own or possess a firearm, they are allowed to continue to possess or own a firearm.
