Ybor City Bar Staff Arrested on Drug Charges

Four Ybor City bartenders have been arrested as part of a Tampa Police department drug sting, called “Operation Last Call,” where police bought drugs ranging from cocaine to Adderall at several clubs and bars in the area.

The Sting

Police said that the suspects worked as servers, bartenders, and promoters at the following Ybor City businesses:

  • Southern Nights Club
  • White Lie Bar
  • Coyote Ugly Saloon
  • Tangra Nightclub

Drugs were passed to customers inside shot glasses, under serving trays, and inside receipt holders. All involved were arrested on drug charges occurring within 1,000 feet of a church as these businesses are all found in close proximity to Relevant Church, which is located less than a block away from 7th Ave.
