Four Ybor City bartenders have been arrested as part of a Tampa Police department drug sting, called “Operation Last Call,” where police bought drugs ranging from cocaine to Adderall at several clubs and bars in the area.
Police said that the suspects worked as servers, bartenders, and promoters at the following Ybor City businesses:
- Southern Nights Club
- White Lie Bar
- Coyote Ugly Saloon
- Tangra Nightclub
Drugs were passed to customers inside shot glasses, under serving trays, and inside receipt holders. All involved were arrested on drug charges occurring within 1,000 feet of a church as these businesses are all found in close proximity to Relevant Church, which is located less than a block away from 7th Ave.
Tampa Police say that the following people have been arrested as part of “Operation Last Call.”
- Southern Nights: Brandon Brinson, 33, was arrested on two charges of delivery of a controlled substance.
- Tangra Night Club: Carlos Diaz, 33, was arrested on one count of delivery of a controlled substance.
- White Lie Bar: Promise Toby, 30, was arrested on three counts of delivery of a controlled substance, a failure to appear charge, operating an unregistered vehicle, and driving with a suspended license.
