Felony Worthless Check Case

Our client wrote a check and it turned out she had insufficient funds in her bank to pay for the service.

The business referred the case of the state attorney’s office and she was prosecuted for a felony worthless check. We were able to show that she in fact paid for the services and that the worthless check was a mistake because she wrote it from a bank account that she didn’t realize was closed.

The charges ultimately were dropped by the state attorney’s office!
